The founding principle of the Ottawa Gloucester Sports Club is to provide financial support to area minor sports associations and teams as well as individual athletes with a special or specific need. Last year the OGSC handed out more than $10,000 to more than 40 different groups and teams. The money is largely used to help offset operating costs.

To apply for a grant, an agent or representative of the team, group or association must fill out a proper application form providing the necessary information as indicated as well as the name of a Sports Club member endorsing the application. Application forms are available online or at the sports club.
