Orléans financial
planners appointed to national body

Judith Cane
and Kristan Birchard, two financial planners active in the local community,
have been reapppointed to the board of directors of Advocis, The Financial
Advisers Association of Canada.
Judith
Cane is the owner of Antara Financial. During her affiliation with Advocis,
she's chaired the organizarion's professional services committee and the
national conference. She is also active in the local community having been
a past chair of the Orléans Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Orléans-Cumberland
Community Resource Centre's Community Caring Club.
Kris Birchard
is also based in the east end. The principal of Eagle Insurance Agency Ltd.
has been a member of Advocis since 1972. He's served on a number of committees
and in various positions with the organization including vice-chair and
chair.
He
is a frequent speaker on estate and succession planning as well as life,
critical illness and long-term care insurance.
The Financial
Advisors Association of Canada serves as an advocate for financial advisers
and planners, providing them with a platform of knowledge, community and
protections enhancements that are in ther best intereest of consumers.
