Accused
double-murderer Col. Russell Williams is now facing multiple break-in charges
in connection with a series of panty thefts that took place in the Fallingbrook
area in the fall of 2008. Col.
Williams is accused of killing Cpl. Marie-France Comeau, 37, and Jessica Lloyd,
27, while he was the base commander at CFB Trenton. He has also been charged with
two home invasion sex assaults.. Shortly
after Col. Williams was arrested in February, police swooped down on his Westboro
home which he shared with his wife at the time. During a search of the property
they found hundreds of pairs of women`s underwear. After
further investigation, they linked him to a series of break-ins that occured on
Wilkie Drive and Simoneau Way in the fall of 2008 in which the only items stolen
were women`s underwear. Ever
since Williams was arrested, residents living in the area have assumed that Williams,
who lived on Wilkie Drive at the time, was responsible for the break-ins. Now
that he has been charged, their suspicions have been proven correct. (This
story was made possible thanks to the generous support of our local
