massive commercial and residential development proposed
for Hwy. 174 and Trim Road will create 450,000 sq. ft.
of office space and up to 300 commercial and residential
units, according to builder Brigil.
Gatineau-based developer announced plans for the third
phase of their Petrie Landing project on Thursday. The
$300 million development will feature a six-storey, 300,000
sq. ft. office tower at its centre with a capacity for
2,100 jobs when fully leased.

banquet hall, a 200-unit apartment complex, and several
other mix use buildings.
announcement was being applauded by local politicians
as the job creation catalyst the east end has been in
need of for decades. What isn't clear is where the jobs
will come from? As yet there are no confirmed tenants,
however, Brigil is confident prospective tenants will
come forward now that their plans have been made public.
