Westbound
174 to be reduced to one lane for next 2 weeks

The
commute to downtown Ottawa is about to get a lot more
difficult for east end commuters as the city prepares
to reduce westbound traffic on Hwy. 174 to one lane from
Blair Road to the split starting this Saturday.
The
lane closure is expected to remain in effect for approximately
two weeks while work is being done as part of the Hwy.
417 expansion project.
The
city is encouraging commuters to use OC Transpo's Express
service to get to and from work, which won't be effected
by the lane closure.

story was made possible thanks to the generous support
