the first races that we do at the beginning of the year
that count, so obviously its a bit nerve-wracking,

pair of wins qualifies Blondin for upcoming World Cup
events in Calgary, Salt Lake City, Astana, Kazahkstan
and Berlin leading up to the Olympic Trials at the end

the number of atheltes that will be able to qualify at
each of the Olympic distances is not yet known, it will
likely depend on the World Cup results. It
may be as many as three for the 3000 and 5000, or only
the Olympic Trial champion. Either way, the weekend results
in Calgary should give Blondin a much need boost of confidence
heading into the Olympic season.
