Local rinks will play host to teams from across North America and overseas over the next three days as the 7th Annual Bell Capital Cup gets underway.

The Ray Friel Centre will be the scene for the preliminary games in the Major Peewee AAA and Major Peewee AA division, as well as several Atom House B games.

Among the teams competing in the Major Peewee AAA division are the Boston Jr. Penguins, Detroit Compuware and the Rochester Americans. The lone local team in the division is the Eastern Ontario Wild.

The Major Peewee AA division features a pair of teams from Finland, the EKS Blues and the Karhu-Kissat Cats, along with the Gloucester Rangers.

The Bob MacQuarrie Recreation Centre is the host rink for the Peewee House A division which has teams competing from as far away as Iqaluit, Montreal and Kahnawake.

For the first time entrance to all the games, including the finals at the Canadian Tire Centre is free.
