Orléans skip Rachel Homan's quest to return to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts is off to perfect 3-0 start after her rink registered to more wins at the provincial championships on Tuesday.

After opening the tournament with a 9-4 win over the Jacqueline Harrison rink from Mississauga on Monday, Homan downed the Julie Tippin foursome from Woodstock 8-4 in the afternoon draw on Tuesday. That set up a Draw 3 showdown with Erin Morrissey from the Ottawa Curling Club Tuesday night.

Both teams went into the game with identical 2-1 records. Only one of them would emerge with their perfect record intact. In the end it wasn't even close. Team Homan crushed Team Morrissey 10-4 in seven ends, leaving them as the only undefeated rink in the tournament.

The Homan foursome is eager to get back to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts after failing to make the final last year as the defending champions and having to settle for bronze.

The team is the overwhelming favourites in Brampton having won seven of eight the touraments they entered in the fall including three of four Grand Prix events. Their main competition is expected to come from defending champion Julie Hastings from Bayview and five-time champion Sherry Middaugh from Coldwater.
