THE ORLEANS OLDER PLAYERS present "Canada's Worse Verse" in the Richcraft Theatre at the Shenkman Arts Centre. Curtain times 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets $10; students and children under 12 $5 available at the door. Vilified by critics, James McIntyre, James Gay, James MacRae and James Gillis have been branded as Canada's worst poets and are relegated to the far reaches of the afterlife, looked after by a depressed and somewhat cranky angel named Lettice. Unless they can find an appreciative audience for their much-maligned verse, they will not be able to achieve the one thing that alludes them--a peaceful immortality.
