Solutions
for
managing conflict
by
Linda Lou McQuinn
Whether
in the family, with friends or in the workplace, conflict often begins with fear.
Once the feedback loop has begun, it is difficult to approach potentially tough
situations without stress, anxiety and anger. The chronic fatigue and pain that
often develops from being in ongoing conflict only strengthens the unhealthy interactions.
Perhaps a fear of offending or hurting others prevents you from speaking up,
until you erupt in a rage that seems unreasonable to the person on the receiving
end-the one who doesn't realize that your anger is the result dozens of interactions
where your needs were overlooked.
Or,
perhaps afraid your needs won't be met, you constantly demand such a big piece
of the attention "pie" that family, friends and coworkers now view you
as unreasonable and ignore you. Or you may be in a relationship (with a spouse,
family, coworkers or a boss) in which you feel powerless to change a negative
dynamic.
This power is waiting for you. It comes with a healthy emotional,
mental, and physical balance that gives the calm assertiveness needed to positively
change difficult situations.
Heilkunst/ Homeopathic treatment and remedies
can be used to remove the disease states that cause this anxiety and stress.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) often removes the power of the initial
traumas that make trusting that your needs will be met so difficult. Learn how
to gently activate the body's energy points to unblock your vital life force through
a combination of tapping meridian centers and powerful visualizations.
Neuro
Linguistic Programming (NLP) gives you the power to change how you interact with
the world around you and how others react to you. It is amazing how quickly you
can positively resolve conflict once NLP techniques teach you how to effectively
and calmly communicate with others.
